I offer a quarterly seminar/workshop on a FREE/What You Can basis, because my work in Africa, the Caribbean, South Asia and less affluent parts of Europe has taught me that there are incredible storytellers all over the world, many stagnant in situations that do not allow them the latitude to invest in their own development. By offering a completely free option, we are also able to bypass elements of global transaction bias that limits electronic payments from certain parts of the world. However, the reality is that we also need to pay for the appropriate levels of subscription to services such as Zoom, to use the best resources possible to deliver online workshops, to protect writers in the seminars from the scourge of acts such as “Zoombombing” (when online trolls hack meetings to post xenophobic, racist and sexist messages as well as unsavoury images.)

With more resources, we will be able to create video content from the seminars that will be available online for many more aspiring writers to access in the future.
