— Tutorial RANGE
Many Ways to Grow
The range of tutorials I’m offering (along with my long-time associate, Maame Aba Daisie) span one-off online seminars with up to 100 writers to two-week intense one-on-one novel surgeries for advanced writers seeking to pull a project towards its end. My experience as writer, tutor, editor, publisher and reviewer gives me unique insights that I love to share. Some tutorials have a free option, many are priced quite low to allow for a wider range of incomes to have access (for example, my six-week workshops only cost £90) and some are priced at just below market rates so that I am adequately compensated for my work. The best way to stay informed on where and when I’m teaching next is to join the mailing list on the resources page, or click the external link in the page footer. Either way, I hope to see you out there soon. Keep writing crooked!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you really offer free tutorials?
Yes, I offer free places on my quarterly online seminars, as well as free reference notes that are always available.
Do you teach in an institution?
Yes and no. I teach in institutions as a visiting writer or editor, and I offer residential workshops with the likes of Arvon and Moniack Mhor. Full time teaching stops me from writing.
Will you offer in-person workshops?
When I visit Africa, Asia or the Caribbean, I try to offer in-person workshops. In Europe and the US, I partner with other organisations.
When do you sleep?
I don’t sleep; I dream.
